ABOUT ONLINE BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellations after a vehicle has been despatched can only be made by calling our control room. A charge may be incurred depending upon how far the vehicle has travelled, and / or for how long we have waited after the booked pick up time. Refunds for cancellations will be made within 72 hours after the planned journey, excluding card charges. Cash bookings are only available within central Taunton. Quotations are based on shortest route and waiting time. Trip extensions, detours and extra waiting time may incur additional charges at meter rates, to be charged at the time.
Payments made via our on line system or mobile “Apps” using iPhone or Android, are processed via the Adelante card payment system.
The payments application prompts the user for the information required to process their credit card payment. This includes the card number, expiry date, security code, transaction amount, and so on. Once this information is complete, the application encrypts the data and submits the payment request for authorisation to the ConnectPay payment server.
The bank processes the payment and the results are then displayed in the payments app on your Android smartphone or device. The process to accept payments on Android is intuitive and secure.
Credit or debit card details are not stored on the phone or anywhere on the ConnectPay servers. Adelante are regulated by Visa and MasterCard as an accredited PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider. This is the highest accreditation possible for card processors.
All personal information collected during the booking and payment process is stored and managed in compliance with British data protection laws. We do not provide any information to third parties. We will only contact you about the specific booking made.
